Its highly unlikely Green will fall as far as 7th and to be honest I'm
not sure he's going to have much of an impact in his first year. He
doesn't have a man's body yet. I'd say a best case scenario for Green
would be that he plays as well as high schooler Josh Smith, and what
did that bring the Hawks? It sure wasn't wins. I'm hoping someone
who's more in tune with the team game (whomever that may be).
As for a PG, the Raps need to take a REAL good look at Jack and Ukic.
They better be sure either can be effective because picking the 5th
best PG in a draft isn't usually the way to find a star. If the Raps
want a PG maybe they should look to use the 7th pick on one of the top
three. If they're all gone then forget PG until the 2nd round.
I am still hopefull that the Raps can somehow find an effective big
man with one of their top two picks. The Raps need more help inside
than at any other position and Marshall is gone. I don't want next
season's success to ride on Bosh, Bonner, Sow, and Araujo. It makes
tears fall from my eyes just thinking about it.
