Hey guys, just joined today and I was reading through old post's. I
have been asking myself since the VC trade, WHAT DO WE NEED IN THE
DRAFT? 4 first rounders in 2 years (or 5 in 3) either way, what do
the Raps need?

PG Alston, Palacio, Williams (where does he fit back in?)
SG Mo Pete, Murray
SF E. Williams, Rose
PF Bosh, Marshall, Bonner, Sow
C Aruajo, Woods, A. Williams, Mourning (what can you get for him?)

I am of the opinion that Alston, Bosh, Bonner, Araujo, Mo Pete, and
E.Williams are in for the long haul. The jury is still out on
Marshall sticking around, I love his game, but he's not suited in
the 7th man roll. This will be a make or break year for Murray and
A. Williams. Also Sow will be a "?" however, it seems to me that he
WILL be around due to the fact that the Raps are undersized but they
gave up alot of size by releasing Moiso, who if you follow free-
agents this year, the nets have signed a couple times, might have
been able to throw into the Carter deal maybe pick up another pick,
maybe a 2nd rounder? What are the chances that Rose is last in TO
much longer? He WON'T come off the bench all year, he's simply paid
too much. Do I see a Woods trade in the near future? Coming into the
game with 3 minutes left against the Warriors with a 20 point lead?
Can anyone else say Moiso??? Move Woods to the IL and bring in Sow
who we have only seen sparingly, but get on the offensive glass or
Aaron Williams who with the Nets, when given significant minutes,
put up 10 and 7 in 82 games, theres another big body on the
offensive glass.

I think i'll borrow a line from J Armstrong and "Get off My Soapbox"

Until next time, lets hear some thoughts on the draft and trade
ideas!

The reason we beat golden state was the explosive start to the third quarter by rafer alston. It really opened up the floor for Mo Pete, Bosh and matt bonner....

I rarely begin to evaluate draft elligible players until the March tournamant is under way. This is my simple view. I would probably draft a big man again(and...
