I believe that was the definition of "frittering one away". Was there
one player who had a good game? They simply stopped running plays. Of
course Carter started to play well because he is the only guy on the
team who can succeed while everyone else stands around. The rest of
the players need some structure.
Mitchell made a mistake by keeping Woods and Alston out of the 4th.
The raps needed Woods rebounding and defense and they also could have
used Alston because Palacio wasn't providing anything. I'm willing to
give Mitchell a pass on this right now because he is still trying to
establish controll over this team.
I refuse to blame Mitchell because these players simply aren't doing
what he wants. They are just too soft. Its up to Babcock now. He's got
to bring some players that Mitchell can work with.
This team needs an overhaul. Scrape it right down to bedrock. Start
with some tough guys, some size, and some interior scorers. We've got
soft perimeter players falling out of our @$$'$. We'll never run out
of them.
