Given Carter's past history, we'd say there's a pretty good chance
that Aldridge's source is Vince's mother, who also represents him.
Vince and his mom spoke openly to the media about their desire for
Julius Erving to be the new general manager, so we wouldn't be
surprised if he was unhappy about the Babcock decision. The Raptors
have been panned by numerous outlets for the Araujo pick, but we
didn't see much interior toughness from the club last year. Rafael
fills a need and can help their club immediately, both of which are
good things. It seems like Vince trade rumors have been on and off
for years, so we won't take too much stock in this one until it
really heats up.
