Re: Jerome Williams

Size is a clear issue with O'neill. It has been seen in rumours about
trades and in comments he has made. The other day against the Bulls
he commented in just how much bigger the frontline of the Bulls was
in compared with the Raptors. There was also the trade talk earlier
about Mutombo and recently there is more talk about moving Peterson
for some frontline help.

I don't happen to agree entirely about JYD or with the trade talks,
but I do agree with the fact that the Raptors are a small team. Much
too small to compete consistently with so many bigger teams.

JYD isn't a bad player but at 6-8 he is one part of a bigger problem.
Bradley is a skinny and unathletic 6-10 (I think he is shorter than
that). Davis is a WAAAY too small 6-9 to play center. Bosh is skinny
and maybe only 220 pnds. Moiso is another tall skinny and raw wannabe
center. These are not the type of players which will dominate any
team in the NBA. Hopefully they can compete most nights, but they'll
never dominate.

Until The Raps do something about this inadequacy, then they will
remain middle of the pack or lower.

Whenever I checked raptors boxscores, I found that JYD barely played and barely contributed. At first I thought it was because its the preseason, but then I...

Bench warmers like Bradley or Jefferies don't have much trade value. I don't about JYD having much trade value. A playoff contending team looking for depth...

I would really hope that this is just an preseason evaluation thing (which I would guess it is) because when JYD was starting last year, he was one of the...

The Raptors' two biggest needs are: 1. size 2. PG Even though GG tried to address the issue of size over the off-season getting Bosh (6'10), Moiso (6'10),...
