Some things to think about as the lottery approches are that the
raptors have a 47% chance of being in the top three picks. Everyone
is obviously hoping to get lucky and be first, but there is a better
than 50% chance that the raptors will fall. Luckily the chance of
falling lower than fourth drops dramatically, and the chances of
falling all the way to 6th are nearly impossible.
As I see it Chris Bosh has a serious chance of being a Raptor and I
hope the raptors take a real close look at him in workouts to make
sure. The top three will be picked regardless. It is those below the
top three which our scouts better have a clear idea of. Getting a
good player in this draft is crucial to the long term development of
the raptors.
I have hopes that the raptors can somehow aquire a second good pick
and draft at least one big man. It would be great to get James or
Anthony, but I also think it would be a mistake to come out of this
draft with no big men. AD is old, JYD is small, and Bradley is bad.
This summer I'd like the raptors to add at least two players taller
than 6-10. One of those hopefully will be a draft choice.
