It's over at Cheshire Park which is about 2 miles north of Cheshire High School, right off route 10. It's sand, and we play 6's, unless we have less people, then we play with what we have. If it is raining at 6pm, we don't play, if it is not raining, we play! I would say the level is B/BB. I'll be there tonight-

Not the one at the highschool. It's at cheshire park a bit to the north on highland. It's a mixed group as far as level is concerned.

This (ACTUALLY NEXT SATURDAY) saturday (THE 16TH) I'm going to host an impromptu bbq. My initial thought is to hit the Cheshire High VB court around 1:00 and head to our place to grill around 4:00. While we're enjoying some food and drink we can discuss the upcoming season including what tournaments we'd like to run/ play in and some other details. FYI the tournament draft is later that week so if you want some input on what we run please make it known ASAP.
Feel free to invite some other players. Just give me an idea of who's coming so I can make sure that I have enough refreshments. Can't make it on Saturday? Feel free to pass along some feedback via email if you'd like.
I can email you directions to either location if you need them.

Hello All,
Indoor season is just around the corner (sorry beach bums but it is two months
away!) and it's high time we had a bar-b-q to celebrate the summer and a general
club meeting. The bbq is of course for food and drink (I can also squeeze a net
into my backyard but no promises if the ball ends up in the hedges, of course
going the the cheshire sand courts first is an option). The meeting will be to
discuss operations for the upcoming season: tournaments; mens, women's, and
co-ed teams, court time, league play, fundraisers et al. An agenda will be
forthcoming.
I need to know from the 'regulars' if there is a day in August that is
particularly favorable. The 9th and 23rd are out for Nadine and I.
See you all soon!Jason PhillipsPresidentRandom Volleyball

Hi all:
I going to set up a net at Peckham Park in Middlefield (where the No-
Beach Tournament is played) on Sunday the 22nd at noon (weather
permitting) for some open play. Feel free to stop by.
Both Yankee Tournaments (Men's C- and Women's B-) are cancelled this weekend due to lack of registrations.
Random Volleyball Club thanks all those who have made our inaugural season of tournaments a reasonable success! We look forward to hosting more great events next season!
Folks this is a great way to enjoy a day of competitive volleyball. It's cheap, the level of play is appropriate for most, you get free stuff and it's a lot of fun! Please feel free to print this email and/or forward it to others who may be interested!

Hey Everyone,
The site is up, check it out.
Jeremiah, if you can work up some copy to put up that would be helpful.
Right now the site is just a graphic, no working elements at this time. Wanted to hear some input/suggestions on the design and layout. The header is a work in progress so no need to comment on how blah it looks. If someone has the logo in a digital format that they can send to me, that would be greatly appreciated too.
The left navigation, obviously needs some work. I didn't really know what to include. I went by yankee.org's site and created a top level navigation based on theirs. The navigation might need to have sub menus built, maybe rollouts but I guess we can discuss the pages we want to have displayed presently a little more.
The calendar to the right, I believe can be an important feature which will keep tabs of all types of events. All members can refer to that to find out times and dates of tournaments, league games and times, and other possible events related to the club. I figure the month label would have a drop-down menu implemented for future months and so on.
Again, let me know your ideas, problems, suggestions, etc..
- Andy
