Hi Sam,

I'm in for BIG FRIDAY. If we ride at the pace you & Maurice did last friday coming back from laguna, it should only take us an hour & a half. I talked to Kirk yesterday about getting different gears, he said I have 2 ring gears??  I should use both of them.

The weather forcast has mellowed a smidge which is good....now forcasted temps 70s to mid 80s. If it gets back into the 90s I may call an audible.

So I guess it's time for more info on the Friday's Big ride.

It's a Grind - Coffee Shop   2512 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA

Just go down Jamacha to Willow Glen and turn into the shopping center.

. ... From there we'll climb up Dehesa to Alpine and then across Willow's road and up Viejas Grade for a short break at Perkins Store. Onto old 80 we'll go East 'til we reach La Posta and head South to 94. From there it's a straight shot back with a late lunch enroute at the world famous Delzura Cafe. As you can see by the elevation chart most of the major climbing is the first part of the ride with just a few whoops coming back.  This is an all day affair so plan on it.
