Don, a big thanks for your running the skating night as long as you have.
We have seen #'s dwindle. I think the once a month idea is a good one.
But if a change is made should stick to it for a long time. It's good to
have some consistancy with something like this. It's sad to see so many
fewer people go now than in the past. I'm not sure why. But if the skating
rink is OK with using continuing it with these numbers, and somebody is
willing to run it, may be worth keeping it going. You guys have done a
great job with the pictures posted to web site ... if someone is willing to
coordinate advertising and charities and rink would be great ... the
pictures are nice but if someone didn't have the time / resources we could
probably live without them.
If the unthinkable happens and rainbow skating does fold, perhaps as an
alternative we could have an unofficial gay/les skate night somewhere (say a
bunch of us go on a certain night each month or something like that) ...
