Can someone explain why there is a B standard and having achieved it (no one
else having achieved this or an A standard) is not then selected? What is
the point?

announces the British marathon and racewalk teams for Beijing. Johanna
Jackson has been selected for the womens 20km walk but no men have been
selected. Dan King has the B-standard for the 50km but hasn't been
selected.

Anyone know if Dan has a chance of selection at a later date?
