At long last, here is the write-up from last Thursday's game:

The Ice Weasels were in fine form for this game. They started out hot,
going through the entire lineup and scoring 6 runs in the first inning.
Matt and Neil each
hit in-the-park homers, and Azzy hit a triple. On the defensive side,
Brandy made an excellent diving catch at first base. Rob had the following
comments about the
Weasels' defense: "Newton and Matt continue to fight over who is allowed to
catch the ball when playing the outfield and they should probably be
separated. No one was fighting over the ball as four IWs watched it drop
into the baseline between 2nd and 3rd late in the game." Neil pitched an
excellent
game, and the Weasels dominated The Orbitz for a 21-1 victory. The only run
scored by The Orbitz came in the final inning of the game, when a runner
scored from
third base during a contested play at second base. Thanks to Matt for
managing the team while Mitch was away in Boston. Thanks to Kelly and Azzy
for subbing,
and thanks to Rob for helping out in general. Finally, thanks to Rob,
Tammy, Christine, Newton, Brandy and Neil for providing information for
this write-up.
