Tonight at the Empanada Parlour (why they don't just change their name
to
Panda Parlour and be done with it, I don't know) on 6th street, there is
a good show. The Conrads (whom I don't know about) are opening for the
Stingers (who Carrie, Andy Swan, and I have seen and liked). The
Stingers are ska/rocksteady, the Conrads are (I am told) rock 'n roll.
The Conrads begin playing at 10pm. I think you should all come with me
to see this show. Lemme know if you want to go.

Also, a reminder about the party tomorrow (which has also been extended
to include Saturday night as well):

Andy Swan (whom some of you know, and some do not) is having a party
this
Friday night. I am instructed to invite everyone, and you fall into
that
category. You should come to this party. There will be music, alcohol,
Andy Swan, and probably an iguana.

The party starts around 8pm. It will last forever, pretty much. And,
as
always, people are welcome to crash at his place if they're not up for
driving home.

1) Coming from MoPac
exit 290 east, take 290 to the 1st street exit, uturn at first street.
Go down to Banister on the access road, turn right on banister. The
first
apartment complex on the left is called Oak Run, turn in there. Follow
the rd in the complex to the left, the signs that say "Run of the Oaks"
are the ones leading to my apartment. The apartment is in the back
behind
the pool, directly at the end of the pool and up the stairs. ThERE IS a
big
F on the door. The parking (sorry) is restricted in the area right
outside
my apartment, but the whole rest of the complex is free parking
wherever.
There are about 8 guest spots located in various spots in the parking
lot
right outside the apartment, they will say guest on the end of em,
otherwise ya gotta park outside the lil parkinglot and walk up the
hill.
Alternately, park wherever the hell ya want and we'll go back out with
ya to
show ya where you can move to when ya get here. That's where we're at.
