The fighting Ice Weasels played our first two games last night. The
first game was against The Outfield. We lost 20-5 after 5 innings. Our
second game was against The Viruses, who had to forfeit the game because
they didn't have enough players. We had a practice game with them after
loaning them some players (and won). Also, we had a fan named Karl show
up with an amazing poster and much moral support (Go Weasels!). Many
pictures were taken at the game (courtesy of Hawi's lovely digital
camera), which will be posted on the web page this evening.

Tuesday (1/11): Practice @ 7pm-9pm @ IBM Field

The Tuesday/Thursday practices begin at 7pm, but some of us will be
there at 6pm, so feel free to show up early.

For batting practice, bring your glove, as we are going to throw the
ball around for a while after batting. Since we spend most of our
weekday practices doing game-simulation drills, we're going to
concentrate on fundamentals on Sunday.
