Hey All

I just read the thread regarding the trails around Welches/Govt
Camp. I, too, will be up there in a few weeks, so I'm glad to hear
that there are some trails to hit in the area.

I was hoping to meet my family up there and ride my bike after work
from Milwaukie. I know that you can take the Springwater out to
Boring or so. But does anyone know of any route from there to get up
to the Welches area that does not include riding on Hwy 26?

Also, I remember hearing awhile back that I think that they were
considering an idea to link some type of (existing? Barlow?) bike
path to the Springwater bike path so that you could ride all the way
up to the Welches area without riding on the road. Does anyone know
anything about this?

Any suggestions welcomed!

Thanks, Matt

Don't know of any trails but road is:

Springwater to downtown Boring
272nd north......., left at Y turns into Telford Rd.........
Right on 267th, immediate right onto Stone Rd..........
Right on Orient Drive, turns into Bluff Rd..........
As you approach City of Sandy and HWY 26 left on Hood and back streets to Ten
Eyck Rd.
Left on Ten Eyck (downhill) to Marmot.
Right on Marmot...............many miles to left on E Barlow Trail Rd.
Right on Lolo Pass Rd to HWY 26 at the old Zig Zag Store.

It is a nice road ride.
