REMINDER: [pumpclub] Historic MTB Documentary Premiere in Portland

p.s. the bicyclefilm festival folks are concerned about apathetic ticket
sales, (maybe because it's too nice outside to watch a movie at 3pm
on a sunny Saturday?), so if you got nothing else going on, swing by
and see the show! Details below...........

Roger

fyi.....if you DON'T go to Waldo Lake, check this film out!

Roger

My name is Billy Savage and I've produced a film, KLUNKERZ, that's going
to play at the Bicycle Film Festival in Portland on Saturday, Sept. 8th
at 3:00pm at Cinema 21 616 NW 21st Ave Portland, OR 97209. You can find
out more information about the festival here...

The film is about the origins of the modern mountain bike and the
culture that surrounded it's genesis. KLUNKERZ is my first film, and I'm
very excited to have it accepted into the BFF. The film has been
extremely well received by both audiences and the press. KLUNKERZ set
attendance records for a documentary film at both the Mill Valley Film
Festival and the Durango Independent Film Festival. It was nominated for
'Best Documentary and Emerging Filmmaker' awards at the 2007 X-Dance
Action Sports Awards in Park City, UT. The star of the film, Gary
Fisher, was honored with a 'Lifetime Achievement' award at X-Dance
during the closing ceremonies. KLUNKERZ also won the jury prize for
'Best Documentary' at the festival in Durango, CO. If I can supply you
with any materials to help promote the screening and the festival,
please let me know. Please stop by www.klunkerz.com
<http://www.klunkerz.com/ <http://www.klunkerz.com/> > and sign the
'guest book'. Thank you very
much for your consideration and I hope to be hearing from you soon.

Ride on,
