In years past early registration (for those who raced last year) opens in
January/February, (If you raced last year you're guaranteed an entry this
year)

A few weeks later open registration begins for the remaining spots which
typically fill up within a few days (hint.. overnight your entry)

The entry fee the last 2 years has been $200.

There is a new / old promoter this year so details may change from how it's
been in the past few years.

I'm planning on entering the race in 2007. The web site doesn't have any
info except the date, July 8th, as of yet. How much has the entry fee been
in years past. It also looks like they top the race off at 100 or so people,
How are those spots divvied up? Is it tuff to get a spot? Do they turn
people away or are there excess spots to be had?
