The new year is upon us and we've been playing polo every week as
usual. We've had some nice practices over the holiday break and it's
sort of depressing to leave the playing field and return to the office. But
every day gets a little bit more daylight and that's a mood lifter for sure.

Yesterday, we had arena polo in the morning; in the afternoon Mary,
her brother Joe, his son Michael and I worked our field hunters on the
new woodland jumping course at the ranch and then over traditional
jumps.

We're looking forward to more days of moderate weather conditions in
January.
