Potomac Polo School class will be held as usual on Wednesday evening at 6PM. Please call ahead today to reserve your spot. We're looking forward to another fun class.
We had quite a bit of exciting polo this weekend at the Potomac Polo Club. Last weekend, if you recall, the Red Eagle Ranch Team of Mary, brother Joe and LJ and father Lou Lopez of University of Virginia won the 6-goal outdoor USPA Centennial Cup. And yesterday the Red Eagle Ranch Team again claimed another USPA 6-goal (arena) tournament win. Our underdog 4-goal team of Mary, brother Joe and myself fought well against a 6-goal squad from Café 10. We kept the score tied at halftime and then pulled away sharply in the fourth. The other team battled back but Red Eagle Ranch prevailed with a final score of 12 to 11 to capture the USPA 6-goal Independence Day Cup. We want to thank Kerry, Carla, and Pressan for coming out to support the Red Eagle Team. As always, we had a superb BBQ party after the event with all the players and spectators and we welcome our students to support the Red Eagle Team at upcoming events.
Our next USPA tournament will be the Finals of the 4-Goal USPA tournament at Maryland Polo Club. In this event I will be playing on the Seneca team on Sunday at 3PM. If you are in the Baltimore-area and can attend we'd welcome your support.
We hope eveyone had a fantastic holiday as we celebrate our Nation's Independence. God bless America!
