The Potomac Polo School will hold class on Thursday evening this week, rather than Wednesday. We appreciate your understanding for this one-time change. If you have already scheduled and confirmed for Wednesday, please call back to reconfirm for Thursday evening.
Mary and I will be competing in two separate USPA tournaments over the weekend and the heavy polo schedule has necessitated this slight change. But look at it this way, you are sure to have a spirited class whatever night it is since either one or both of us is likely to be in the school scrimmages this week.
And if you would like to see some exciting polo, don't miss the finals of the 3-6 goal USPA Centennial Cup this Saturday at 1PM at Potomac Polo Club. I'll be announcing while Mary and brother Joe are teamed up with Lou Lopez (Coach of University of Virginia Polo) and son Lou Jr. versus the perennial powerhouse of Seneca Polo. We certainly hope to see you there! If you are in the Baltimore area and are interested in more polo this weekend, I'll be playing in the USPA 4-goal tournament semi finals on Friday night at 6PM at the Maryland Polo Club. With a win, my team will advance to the finals on Sunday at the same location at 3PM. This should be an exciting week of polo and we look forward to scrimmaging with the students and enjoying some good games over the weekend.
