Polo school will be going strong this week with fabulous weather in
the forecast. Come out and play with us. Red Eagle Field No 1 is
in superb condition and the evenings are expected to be quite
pleasant for polo. Classes are being held on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings, with additional opportunities (as always) for scrimmages
between leasing students and Mary and I on other days. If you've
already paid then you certainly should be here having fun with us
and remember, everyone must use up their lesson packages before the
end of the season in the fall. Remember, unused lessons do not
carry over to next year.
The Red Eagle Polo Team provided coverage (Mary and Dante) to a last
place league team on Saturday and Sunday. We played against the
second and first place teams (both teams Red Eagle has previously
defeated). Although we played quite well, the last place team we
supported was somewhat disadvantaged with the team pro playing with
a broken collarbone. In the end we were defeated but had a very
nice weekend of exciting polo.
We currently have two exceptionally talented horses available for
immediate lease. Fall polo on the grass will be continuing for
another two months and then we'll have some spirited arena polo well
into the end of the year so if you've been sitting on your hands
thinking about getting serious, then stand up now and be counted—
these two ponies could be yours!. You simply will not become a polo
player through introspective contemplation. It's time to get out
every weekend and really play. We hope to see you soon.
