Hate to miss seeing all the great polo
this weekend, but I’m heading out of town. Hope everyone has a wonderful
and safe holiday weekend!
Look forward to returning to the field
next week!

Dear dante: Thank you for the note! I am back in town for the Summer
and would love to help out this weekend. Please tell Mary I will call her today
to check in and to see if I can restart with you all! Best regards, JMF

Classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings continue this week, but
please call well ahead so that we can put you into
the lineup. We
don't want to turn people away because classes
have been filled, so be
sure to call early to reserve you space.
Another polo barn tip: please be careful when
pulling the Velcro tabs
to remove your horse's boots. Sometimes
students literally rip the
Velcro right off the boots. Obviously, that
ruins the boots and
moreover makes for unnecessary complications the
next time we tack-up
the horses. So take your time and remove
them with the same finesse
that you display riding your horse on the polo
field. Thanks.
The holiday weekend promises lots of grass field
polo with the Potomac
Polo Club and others and we'd be delighted to have
our students and
friends come! out to see us play. Right now
we tentatively have
matches scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday,
Sunday and Monday
afternoons. We should have final details later
this week. If you like
to come out and watch or help us out on the
sidelines we'd love to
have you there. Please call Mary this week
and let her know and we
can update with the start times.
