The two day clinic will be held this Saturday and Sunday as
planned. Our clinics always end with a tournament with trophies for
the participants and depending on the count of clinic attendees
there may be a room for Potomac Polo School continuing students to
participate in the tournament. We welcome our regular students to
fill in and even out a team if we end up with an odd number of
clinic guests. So if you have an interest in the clinic or an
interest in jumping into a tournament spot on Sunday afternoon,
give Mary a call right now 301-972-7303.

We'd also like to congratulate one of our former stundents, Dr. Val
Baliad. Val, who was an integral part of the Potomac Polo School
community, having participated in our school classes, our clinic,
and our leagues, has gone on to even greater polo achievements. Val
is well-past his student days and now plays very competitive polo in
Hawaii. Val's team and his own performance was highlighted in the
latest issue of Polo Magazine. If you don't receive the magazine,
it means that you are not a full USPA member. So please be sure to
sign up for USPA membership for 2005. Remember, at a minimum, USAP
Student Membership is required for all Potomac Polo School
participants.
