Subject: [Potomac Polo School] Polo News: Upcoming Event and Potomac Polo Featured in Polo Magazine
feature story on the history of the Potomac Polo Club, which is now
the 16th oldest polo club in the United States. You can learn about
how we formed, who made it all happen, and of course the very
significant contributions of the Muldoon's to the Club and the sport
of polo.
As you know, the school is now on hiatus for August. Our new barn
construction project is moving along well and the new stadium-size
grass polo field (Red Eagle Field No. 1) continues to be manicured
weekly. The field looks and plays fabulously. We recently added
regulation goal posts with the colors of the Red Eagle Ranch, so if
you drive by the farm be sure to check them out. We look forward to
seeing you send the ball through the goal posts in September.
Clinic interest is very high and we'll schedule for that in
September. If you missed out in the past then please be sure to let
us know of your interest for the Fall Clinics.
By the way, we have scheduled a special polo match on the full-sized
Potomac Polo Field No. 2 with tailgating parties and music for
Sunday September 5th. This should be a really fun event to
celebrate a certain couple's wedding on the 4th. We'll have lots of
people attending and Mary and I will be playing together on Team Red
Eagle. Please mark your calendars and be sure to join us. I'll
provide more details in the weeks to come.
