We had a great league match on this past Sunday. The weather again
honored us with ideal conditions. I'll post the specifics later but
the Black team took any early lead and retained it through most of
the match. The Red team tightened it up near the end but Marcos
knocked in the go ahead goal and sealed the win. Julia had a fine
full field run and score that impressed players on both sides but
consistently solid defense and offensive scoring from Ryan made the
difference in the end. I managed to score a goal while
simultaneously jumping off my horse, bouncing off the wall of the
arena and somehow landing on my feet. Not sure if it's a full case
of beer or a half a case for such a display. The final match is
coming up in two weeks. Also, we will have another non-league
players tournament this coming weekend. If you are not yet signed
up, call Mary now. We will have an indoor end of the season party
that should be a lot of fun and we'll provide specifics in the near
future. We just completed a 10 minute music video of the last non-
league players tournament. It should be of interest to everyone in
that tournament--especially Dr. Chang. We'll show it this weekend in
the lounge by the tackroom. Lessons are scheduled for Saturday and
Sunday so please call no later than tonight to book your spot.
