Polo with the Potomac Polo Club was held on Wednesday night in the
arena as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons on the grass field.
Mary, Marcos, Julia and I hit the arena on Wednesday and really had
a blast. Everyone played well and the club players can see that the
PPS students are serious competition. We moved to the grass on the
weekend and thoroughly enjoyed hitting the small ball across the
beautiful field. Marcos is impressive at the club level and it's
amazing when you consider that this is his first season of polo!
But the star of the day was our very own Mary Louise Muldoon with
three of her winning team's six goals. Our student club
contingent
of Dr. Tim, Marcos and Julia are all excellent and strong
competitors. These school player slots within the club are
extremely limited and by invitation only, but if you have a strong
desire to compete at the advanced levels only offered by the club
then you should certainly have a private chat with Mary and see what
might be arranged. We encourage everyone to come out on Sunday's
and watch your fellow students and instructor's.

For this week classes will be held only on Saturday. That means you
had better call TODAY and sign up because there are only so many
people that we can fit in. We'll be on hiatus from the school on
weeknights this week. Mary and I are taking a well deserved few
evenings off from classes. But we will not miss club polo so
that'll still be on the agenda for Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
and
Sunday.

Devorah and Kevin assure me that they'll bring their stable of
mountain bikes out next weekend so stay tuned for our next arena
polo mountain bike event. We might even move it to the grass field
for some halftime entertainment. All recent shirt and cap orders
have been placed and are either in shipment or completing
production. Check with me at the tack room for your order's

date.
