I went to the Auction last week in sydney
There was 41 bikes which is more than the usual 30 that they have
with the price of fuel they have gone up
prices
1 went for $850
a couple for $950
a few for $1000
some more $1050
a couple for $1200
1 went for $1400 , idiots thought the 7K on the speedo was real,
if you looked you would have seen 23k written on the frame for the next service
kays went from 20K to 37K
from there you need to clean it ,
buy 2 mirrors , about $30
blue slip about $30
green slip
rego
also suggest an oil change , and spark plug change both cheap and easy
check the tyres and chain and sprockets as these could also be an expense
realistically if i was buying one i would check the tradingpost and ebay and buying one ready to go
without the hassle of going through the auctions
the auction runs at about 50 lots per hour so at a 10am start the posties at lots 200 went at about 2pm
so save your time and dont sit there all day
realistically they were all fairly decent but of course its buyer beware , inspection is also n the day before
so prob worth going then to check them all if you are serious about buying one
