That sucks they serve pumpkin beer. I might have enjoyed going to one of these things. Thanks for the warning. -Justin

Yup,
Sub Early/Sub Often Part 1 is in the books and a great time was had by all who participated. Props go out to the many folks who participated in Bowdoins Frozen ButterBall in the morning and then made the trek down in the rain to play indoors at SESO.
It was all 'mashed up'. Yup, music on tap for part 2 will be all 'mashed up'.
Worst play of the day? An unidentified Red Tide player that did not buy a beer during his bye. He later realized that beer was to be had and you could drink it in the field house, during your game!! They will have Bud, Bud Light available to drink, although I think life is too short for that type of beer. As usual, they will have Shipyard Export and Shipyard Pumpkin and another local beer for sale.
The timer on the scoreboard will be up and running. That way you can hold on to the disc a little longer and make that last throw with under 5 seconds to go.
Any of this get you excited?
On Saturday December 12th at 2pm, Sub Early Sub Often invades YourSpace in Gorham Maine for round 2.

i'm thinking UNH would be better. i know of a few people who will only go if it's at UNH and we can probably get some UNH folks on top of that. so let's say 2pm at the new turf fields (behind boulder field). i'll spam the UNH list now.

Warm, outdoor disc? Count me in.

Marc and I will be there, and we would prefer Durham.

We squeaked it out! Andy and Marco jumped on at pick up last night to give us an even 16!
So we are off to the York Sports Center next week. We have the fields only form 7:00 - 8:30 PM, at which point the soccer players will rush the field.
Drop in's are welcome. The cost is $15 and please get your money to the person with the clipboard (usually myself) before you start playing. Please don't make us ask you for it. :-)
Indoor Rules/Variants - Because the field is small we only play 5 on 5 to minimize clogging. - Also, to discourage the "one throw offense", completions to the endzone from beyond the mid-field line are not a score. When such a pass is completed, there must be two passes completed out of the endzone and then the offense may pass it into the endzone for a point.
- If we have big turnout we will run make-it-take-it sub-early-sub-often. Run your ass off and sub mid-point. Also, players are encouraged to "sub when you suck" Those of us who often make poor decisions on the field will find such verbal encouragement enthusiastically delivered by those waiting to sub back in. For example: "I don't care if she did manage to catch it; you gotta sub for that throw, Bryan!"
