Greetings everyone,   For many of us, as summer rolls around, we begin thinking more about how the world is viewed horizontally while making a bid on a disc. There are three major sources of disc during the summer, here on the Seacoast. The first is a regular, non-committal pick-up game on Sunday afternoons. The second is the wonderful summer league with a distinct community feel that plays each Wednesday night. The third is the Mixed Club team Gratuitous who competes in tournaments throughout the summer and into early fall.   Gratuitous will be entering its 4th year on the club scene and has qualified for Regionals the past two seasons. Gratuitous runs open tryouts throughout the month of May for interested participants. Tryouts will be conducted on Sundays in May starting on May 3rd from 5PM-8PM for both men and women interested at the fields on Nimble Hill Road in Newington.   Although we try to be a competitive team, we also focus on maintaining the Spirit of the Game and the mantra that ‘Frisbee is Fun.’ If you have any interest in committing to a summer of weekends with hucks and layouts, want a bit more information, or just want to try us out for a month, please shoot us an email.   Enjoy the spring, summer's coming.
