We are all transplants from the east coast or other countries/continents (because no one in Oregon or Washington has ever heard of field hockey!) Our group is coed and ages currently range from 19 to 50! We get together once or twice a week for practices/scrimmages and travel to at least three or more tournaments each year in British Columbia, Arizona and California to play in the Coed Social Divisions. We practice with small collapsible goals in Portland, but tournaments are played on proper pitches with umpires. Please come out and give it a try and bring friends if you would like to! Summer dues are $30 for the summer, or $5 per drop-in.

Our 2009 summer schedule is as follows:
Mary Rieke Turf field, Sundays from 6-8PM, 1405 SW Vermont St, Portland, OR 97219

Madeleine School Field of Dreams(artificial turf), Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 pm., located at the corner of NE 23rd and Klickitat Street (the 3300 block of NE 23rd Street).

We also have a festival coming up over Labor Day weekend in West Vancouver, BC. We will play four games on Saturday and Sunday, Sept 5-6 as a coed social team. The registration fee is $25 per person, and we usually car pool up and share hotel lodging. Let me know ASAP if you are interested in joining us for that weekend.
