As you all know, there was no ride today. I think it's the first time
we've ever had to cancel a ride in advance. However, here's some pix

VIKING COASTAL TRAIL

Those going on Sat 7th March should register their interest on the
forum (link at the bottom of this email) under General Chat so we know
who is leaving from which station. There is already interest for
departing from East Croydon.

Apologies for all the spam on the forum. Not sure how to stop it but
we're working on it. Hopefully you need moderator permission now
before you post but that might slow things down a bit. Bear with us.
We managed to stop the spam on this Yahoo list so hopefully we can do
the same on the forum.

NEXT WEEK

We're starting from Carshalton and heading down to Brockham Village.
They don't have their famous Tea On The Green cakes in the winter so
we're heading for a cosy country pub. We'll also be taking in two
great views, firstly from the top of Reigate Hill and then, in the
afternoon we'll climb up Box Hill. This is much easier than you might
imagine as the gradient on the Zig Zag is quite gentle. There's a
fantastic view from the top. We'll call in to Cafe Chocolat on the way
back for coffee and chocolates. Departing from outside the Westcroft
Leisure Centre in Carshalton at 9:30am. Call me on the morning if it's
snowy or icy to see if we're still going.
