Here is the communication I had with Andy, the young lad who managed to fall off his bike whilst clipped in at Shoreham on the Dec 29th ride.
He seems to be mending OK but it was a good job we got him an ambulance.

Thought it might be a simple matter of just popping it back in place ! !Please let me reassure you that you didn't "mess up" the ride, as they say "It's all in a days work" ! !We continued on and did all we intended. Hope to see you back soon. Please keep in touch.BTW will it be OK to send your message and email address to the other concerned people on our ride today ?RegardsSWhey steve,
this is andy, just thought i should apologise for messing up your ride today, hope you managed to finish it all right? the thumb turned out to be dislocated and badly broken so hospital turned out to be a good idea, i had been enjoying it up until then, so it was a shame to end like that. i have at least a month in a splint/cast now but will continue to train indoors, hopefully i'll be back on a bromley cycle ride come february, so might see you again then?
