Folks,

As part of the discussion at the last TRP cycling group meeting the
Regent's Park Broad Walk project was raised. The monitoring is
underway and to further advertise the opening of the route The Royal
Parks are holding a cycling event on The Regent's Park Broad Walk this
Saturday, the 11th October, 11am – 4pm. Adverts have gone into the
local press, posters and leaflets have been distributed and no doubt
you may have heard already directly from us or a colleague as the
cycle campaign representatives have been informed and asked to spread
the word.

There will be displays from TfL, WCC, Camden Council, Companion
Cycling, CTC and the Vintage Cycling Club as well as attendance by
Professor Kayos and cycle safety marking by the Met Police. I'd like
to take this opportunity to invite all of you along, it should be a
fun day for cyclists of all ages and a good opportunity to raise the
profile of cycling. Thank you to all those who have been kind enough
to offer help and support.
