Hi all,

No word back yet on last Sunday's ride so that report will go out with
next week's. Sunday's ride is a 31 mile countryside jaunt to the Inn
On The Pond at Nutfield. It's recently refurbished, sits in a great
location but can be slightly pricey. Check out the menu at

negotiate but we've time to wait for everyone to get up. 9:30 depart
from the library.

There is also an interesting ride on Saturday from Beddington Park.
Each year on the 2nd Saturday in September, a series of bike rides and
walks are arranged to raise funds for church maintenance and
preservation. Today's Beddington Park ride will participate in the
scheme by visiting 13 local churches. They're all open for you to have
a swift look inside and many have refreshments on offer. If you want
to raise some money, that's up to you but it's not a requirement of
the ride. The route will be on quiet roads and traffic-free paths so
it's very suitable for families. Meet by the cafe in the park and be
ready for a 2pm away, back by 5pm. 12 miles.
