Thinking of spending time exploring the Viking Trail and Thanet area of Kent? We have just completed work on our holiday cottage in Ramsgate, Kent (CT11 8JF for anyone who wants to check it on Google). We are renting it at pds 250 per week in the school hols or 200 per week other times.

 

It's just round the corner from the Bandstand, clifftop walks and cycle rides (Viking Trail), 5 mins or so walk to the beaches, Royal Harbour and town centre.  The Thanet beaches all have blue flags - it's a great place to walk, cycle and generally explore.

 

The cottage itself is really small and basic - a Victorian fisherman's cottage - with steep stairs and a downstairs bathroom. It has 2 bedrooms, one with 2 small (2ft 6ins) beds which can be made up separately or as a 5 ft bed, and a double bed in the other room. There's a small courtyard area with table/chairs but I can't emphasise too strongly how small the whole place is!
