We are buying (or should I say getting a loan on) a TINY (no more than 4 people - who would be living in very close contact!) holiday cottage in Ramsgate, a few hundred yards from the Viking Trail, which leads mostly off-road around the Thanet coastline to Margate (and beyond?). I know Pollards Hill Cyclists have done this ride before and can probably recommend it.

 

We are planning on renting out the cottage on a holiday basis - so if anyone is interested in a stay in Ramsgate (not only the Viking Trail, but also the only Royal Harbour in the country, masses of interesting architecture - supposedly more regency terraces than Bath, loads of interesting history connected with the Battle of Waterloo (Ramsgate is where the troops camped prior to that battle)).

 

I know these groups aren't intended as a means of advertising and making money so apologies if that's what this is - but there is at least a cycling connection!
