It was all still there at Saturday lunchtime. Pretty good stuff.
I got three long-sleeved winter jerseys for miles less than the price of one in my LBS. They won’t be going on eBay!

Cheap cycle stuff at ALDI in Selsdon (now)
At last, (for
cyclists in Croydon) there is now a nearer branch of
Aldi than the one in Catford. A new one opened in Selsdon today
(Thurs 4 Oct) (on the site of the old Somerfield supermarket, at the
bottom end of the line of shops on Addington Road).
I popped in to see if they were giving anything away on Day 1, and
they immediately have cycle stuff.....!
I got 2 winter cycling shirts (choice of ~4 colours/styles) for
£6.99 each. Winter cycling shirts means they are long-sleeved,
although no thicker than normal jerseys. They also have a hi-vis
yellow rain jacket for £9.99 (both mens and womens styles), winter
cycling trousers (with padded seat insert, like cycle shorts) for
£9.99 (both mens and womens styles), waterproof trousers (for £9.99,
I think?), and a cycling jacket (thicker than the jerseys) for
£14.99. The above things are all hanging up. Opposite these (in
metal cage bins), they also have a cap and overshoes set for £4.99,
some cycling gloves and a coiled cable lock (can't remember the
prices of these last two!).
Get there before the eBay cowboys discover them.......!
Cheers
