The first stage of this park is due for its official opening on Saturday 26 May, with some ribbon-cutting by the mayor similar local dignitary at about 2.30 at the Dalmally Passage entrance to the park.

 

Alison Plant, who has been dealing with the building of this park, has proposed an "event" from 2.30 to 3.30 that day, when she would really like to have as many people as possible cycling the park. It's a really short stretch of off-road route but eventually will provide a pleasant route to a nearby primary school.

 

There will be a couple of stalls and a Dr Bike - but the more cyclists the better.
