We had a very good meeting tonight with a lot of input on the rides
programme. The following ideas were taken on board:
More train-assisted rides is ok
Only one really hilly ride each month
Try some rides in North London
We also discussed everyone present having a go at leading rides and that
will happen over the coming months. The new rides are already up on the
website so please click the link below and have a look.
Still to go on the website:
* An overnight stay at Shoreham-On-Sea using the Downs Link from Guildford
on July 29 & 30.
* A daytrip to France, probably in September
* A north London ride
We'll wait and see what's on the new CTC rides list when it is published and
find a ride north of London that we can go on. We'll also do a midnight ride
to Leith Hill on a full moon night, leaving at 9:00pm and returning by about
2:00am although this will need to be at a slightly quicker pace than our
normal rides. Join our list if you're reading this from a different group so
you can keep up to date with things like that.
None of our ladies turned up to the meeting so we have nothing sorted for
Sat 3rd June which is Women's Cycling Weekend. An all-female ride would be
good if anyone is volunteering?
Cheers
