On Sunday afternoon a fellow IMBA member and Lake Tahoe IMBA Patroller had
his automobile window broken at the East Keystone Canyon TH.

There has been a rash of break ins this year at this trail head. You should
not bring or store valuables in you car while your out on the trails.

Things you can do:

-keep ipods, phones, cameras, other valuables out of plain sight if you do
bring them.

-take a few laps around the lot before you head out, check out the
surroundings.

-be aware of people and cars in the area, make mental descriptions in case
needed.

-call the R.P.D. if something looks suspicious or if you see a vehicle has
been broken into or vandalized.

-look out for yourself and other trail users

So keep your heads up and try to help prevent more of these incidents.
