Hope everyone is having a good summer. The recent and unusually cool temperatures are a reminder that fall is not far off and we need to flag the final two miles of the Halo Trail. Construction is scheduled to resume in October.

We also will be taking the USFS Forest Supervisor on a "Halo Ride". We'll let you know the time and date (an upcoming Saturday) and hopefully you can join us for the tour.

-- The Poedunks mission is to maintain and enhance Peavines non-motorized trail network by volunteering to do trail maintenance, trail building and mountain clean ups by working with the U.S. Forest Service, Washoe County Parks, the City of Reno, and other Peavine user groups.
