The Nebraska Horse Trails Committee has a lot of exciting news to share and
upcoming events for you, your saddle club, or 4H Club to give back to trail
systems we all want to be able to enjoy for many years to come! Get out
your gloves, chain saws, and nippers!!
Don't forget!!! All hours volunteered for trail work/clean up days are also
considered eligible to be counted as Trail Time hours. If you are not
already tracking your riding, driving, and trail work volunteer hours,
please consider doing so through Trail Time.

TRAIL CLEARING, BRANCHED OAK LAKE - RESCHEDULED!!!
Rain date - April 21st-10:00 a.m.
Counts towards Trail Time hours! We will meet in the parking lot south of
the dam at 9:30. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers after the
clearing so please RSVP to sarah@... to ensure there is
enough food for everyone.
If you already RSVP'd for the initial date and can make the new date there
is no need to notify me again. I will keep you on the list unless you tell
me otherwise. Letters will be provided to any youth needing community
service hours for 4-H.

BLAZING A NEW TRAIL ELMWOOD TO WABASH
This is EXCITING news for all trail riders!!! March 17, NHTC members marked
nearly 6 miles of new trails, in preparation for upcoming clearing by the
NRD and volunteers like you! Special thanks to the Musil family, Rich and
Kathy Newberg, Vickie Sich, Pattianne Belitz and Bob Carroll for all their
efforts, marking the trail on foot!

June 9 & 10 (this is a work weekend, no horses please)
