Tammy, I am from Hickman. I did see Jake.I emailed about him and will go up and check him out when all this yuck snow goes away! LOL. I am experienced, but it has been a long time. I would probably need a very well broke gelding as I have a 2 1/2 year old son that will ride with me alot. Just a family horse. Probably 8-15 years old? Up to $2500 or so. Thanks for your reply:) Tanya

How experienced are you?  I just put one of my geldings on my website.  He is not a nutcase; just needs some saddle time.  My husband and kids ride, but just not often enough for us to keep 7 horses going.    www.horsetrailriders.com/Classifieds.htm  (pasting below)  There are a few others out there, too.  There is a nice palomino named Jake that belongs to a friend.  She may have him leased out now, but you might want to check with her.

Where are you from, Tanya?  We are all looking forward to riding this spring, too.  Have cabin fever really bad!

The PRR list gets a little more active during riding time.  You may want to check out my other list, Horsetales.  There is about 140 members and it is a very active Yahoo list.  Mostly women, mostly in Eastern/Northern/Central Nebraska.  I'll send you an invite via Yahoo & if you are interested, you can join.

2003 APHA BS gelding:  Solid black with blaze; 4 black hooves, stands at 15hh; slender built, pretty colt.  Spent 30 days with trainer in fall of 2005.  We took him on the trails this past year at Camp Moses and other areas.  Camped overnight with him.  Nice quick walk & smooth canter.  No buck.  Lunges, loads in two horse or slant, good manners.  Still learning, but with a little time on this colt, he will make someone a nice horse.  Feet just done; UTD on shots.  We have 7 horses and only 4 riders -- need to downsize.  Located about 30 miles north of Lincoln. (1st picture taken in summer; he was faded.)  More pictures available. $1900. Serious inquiries only.   Contact Tammy or call 402.416.6835 (leave message)
