Hey, Platte River Riders!  Only 2 months until spring!  Think we can make it??

 

If you aren't on the Horsetales Yahoo list, here is some exciting news!  Two new chapters of the Platte River Riders is starting up this spring.  The "North" chapter will encompass the area from Norfolk, Wayne, Sioux City, down to West Point area.  And just this week, Anita Hertner of Kearney has agreed to put together a PRR Central Chapter!  Stay tuned to the PRR website www.horsetrailriders.com/prr.htm for ride schedules in all areas!  We are hoping rides will start the first Wednesday in April.

 

Also, I think the PRR will have a booth at Expo this year.  Introduce our group & help get the North & Central rides going.  It will provide a meeting place for some of us who don't see each other often except during ride seasons.

 

If you are interested in donating toward the $50 booth fee, I would appreciate it.  Anything over $50 will go toward Vic Fraser's Springfield Trail Fund.  We are hoping to ride that trail this year! 

 

Vic - perhaps you would want to get some handouts about the Springfield trail available for Expo.  We may be able to solicit a few more bucks for it.  That trail IS going to be open this year, doggone-it!
