Okay, the weekend ride at TC it is only three days away!!! The weather is looking AWESOME! Highs in the 60s, lows in the 40's, rain chances 20%. PERFECT fall weather. The full moon is today but I bet we could sneak a moonlight ride in on Saturday...RIGHT Shelly :)?! I have included anyone I had even heard MIGHT be thinking of coming. If I missed anything please chime in (Gretchen, Vic or Annette!). If you want on the Dutch oven list it is $15 for all six meals. Payable to Gretchen when you get to TC.
There are 10 people camping, so there is still room if you had not signed up. Please make the reservations through John and Brenda. There is still room in the cabin for another woman, let me know if you are interested. The rates is listed as $125 per night for couples and $20 per person. If there are six people in the cabin the price would be $35 for each person or $70 for the weekend. Plus $10 per day ride fee for Saturday and Sunday.
Day riders: Day riders are welcome to come join us!! We will try to stick to the ride times posted as much as possible. And there will be maps available of the trails from John and Brenda. The cost to ride one day is $10, payable to John or Brenda. If you wanted to sample one of Gretchen's meals (see the AWESOME menu below). The cost of an individual meal would be $2.00 for a breakfast, $3.00 for a lunch or $4.00 for dinner.
The ride schedule is going to be very loose! If you want to ride on your own, that is fine. If you have been to TC and want to lead a ride, please do!!!
Gretchen found some great Dutch oven basics handouts that she has used in the past to learn from. She will bring them to share. The meals will be served up at the cabin. John is moving two fire rings up to the cabin and some picnic tables. Gretchen is furnishing the plates and utensils. Bring your own drink unless it is noted on the menu! And we may need you to bring lawn chairs.
