Year End Family PRR at Camp Moses   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2620 of 3207 |
Just a reminder that the Platte River Riders' year end family
ride will be held at Camp Moses Merrill near Linwood on Sunday,
Oct. 26. Ride out at 1:00 PM; potluck dinner to follow at
approx. 4:30 PM. Bring a covered dish to share, your own drinks
and table service.

Camp Moses is a private camp. Cost to ride their trails is $6
per rider & all proceeds go directly to Camp Moses. You must
pay at the visitor center when you enter the camp.

The trails are in the bluffs south of the Platte River. There
are some steep climbs and the trails are challenging for both
horse & rider! Don't bring your rollee pollee pasture pet to
this one! Make sure your horse is in shape & has been riding
this past season!

Directions:

From Omaha:
Take Hwy 275 north to Fremont, then Hwy 30 west to North Bend.
At North Bend, take Hwy 79 south two miles to Morse Bluff.
At Morse Bluff, take the county road (Linwood Road/Lin Road)
west about 6 miles to Road 31. Camp Merrill is on your left.

From East Lincoln:
Take Hwy 77 North to Wahoo. Turn west on Hwy. 92 & go approx. 9
miles to Hwy. 79 North. Turn North on Hwy 79. When you reach
Morse Bluff, take the county road (Lin Rd/Linwood Road) west
about 6 miles to Camp Merrill.

From West Lincoln:
Follow Hwy 79 detour (14th Street North). From Valparaiso,
continue on Hwy 79 north to Morse Bluff. At Morse Bluff, take
the county road (Lin Rd/Linwood Road) west about 6 miles to Camp
Merrill.
