We hope the short week has started well for you. Don't forget, there is a lot of
Thursday football action, so it is important to set your fantasy team up earlier
in the week.

Thanksgiving games include: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions, Oakland Raiders
at Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants at Denver Broncos. We hope you will be
able to enjoy some of the action with your family and friends during the
holiday.

To help with your fantasy team this week, here are some free-agent fantasy backs
you should consider. Be sure to scroll to the bottom for links to all of the
other positions.

Please join us on Twitter and Facebook! Access instant updates, late-breaking
news, key KFFL.com fantasy analysis and much, much more. And please share those
links with your friends!

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions
The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added
immediately to your fantasy football team.

Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills (40 percent)

Jackson did nothing special in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars: nine
carries for 35 yards and four receptions for 20 yards. Marshawn Lynch (shoulder)
left that contest before halftime, though. The injury doesn't sound serious, but
one can never be too cautious. Remember how productive Jackson was (more than
140 total yards per game, with one score) while Lynch was suspended for the
first three games?

Rock Cartwright, Washington Redskins (99 percent)

With Ladell Betts (knee) done for the season, Cartwright presumably assumes the
touches that made Betts a popular pickup. The Rock boasts similar skills to
Betts and showed them in Week 11 after the interim starter went down (67 yards
on 13 carries and seven receptions for 73 yards). Though he still aims to play
this season, Clinton Portis (concussion) is expected to miss Week 12 at least;
Cartwright has immediate flex value.

Chris Jennings, Cleveland Browns (99 percent)

The Browns are intent on complementing Jamal Lewis with the shifty Jennings,
especially with Jerome Harrison taking a backseat. Jennings registered 15
touches, including five receptions, for 74 total yards - not outstanding, but
enough to make him a depth option in point-per-reception leagues. Cleveland
wants to assess their ammunition for life beyond the retiring Lewis.

Sammy Morris, New England Patriots (67 percent)

Though Laurence Maroney has found the end zone in five straight contests, Morris
(knee) may be returning as soon as Week 12. The Pats don't mind mixing things up
in the backfield given their cornucopia of options. Morris' injury was a big
reason Maroney took over the majority role, and the Pats have shown love for
Morris when he has been healthy.

Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire
The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football
leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority
but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.

Lex Hilliard, Miami Dolphins (90 percent)

In the wake of Ronnie Brown's (foot) season-ending injury, Hilliard ran off 24
yards on four carries while recording two receptions last Thursday. An 18-yard
scamper accounted for most of his hashmarks, but the Dolphins need a back to
give Ricky Williams a breather. The 5-foot-11, 240-pound Hilliard offers fresh
legs and a powerful style that will be worked into Miami's ground-first attack.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT
Until next time, have great day!

missing the last six games. Betts added, "I can't even feel anything right now,
I don't have any pain, so I'll just get the MRI in the morning, see what damage
is done and go from there." RB Rock Cartwright replaced Betts.

New Orleans Saints have brought back cornerback Mike McKenzie signing him to a
new contract.

The Saints have been dealing with injury issues at the position in recent weeks.
Jabari Greer (groin) and Tracy Porter (knee), both starters when the season
began, missed Sunday's game at Tampa. Greer was also out for the St. Louis game
last week.

Last week, the Saints signed veteran Chris McAlister, formerly of the Baltimore
Ravens, to bolster the roster at corner.

The Saints released McKenzie earlier in the year. The veteran corner suffered a
knee injury in 2008 that ended his season with the Saints. Seattle showed
interest in McKenzie over the summer but ultimately decided no to sign him.

Fantasy Football on Target
For those of you that haven't sold the Dallas Cowboys' Miles Austin yet, the
'Boys "No. 2" wideout was looked at only four times last week. This was
overshadowed by his 49-yard touchdown reception - his ONLY reception of the
game. He faced double coverage for the first time this year. KFFL.com's Nicholas
Minnix advocated selling high on the Cowboys wideout a couple of weeks ago; do
so now while you still have the chance.

Which Dallas receiver should we be talking about? Roy Williams. He was looked at
eight times (for the second straight week) and the ball actually hit him this
time. He finished with five receptions for 75 yards. Romo and Williams put in
extra work after practice last week and it appeared to pay off on at least two
plays. From head coach Wade Phillips: "At least two of the routes were not
audibles but reactions to blitzes where the quarterback and the receiver had to
be on the same page." Maybe Romo wasn't looking Austin's way because he saw the
double coverage; if that continues, Williams could actually provide some decent
fantasy value in the second half.

The Miami Dolphins' Davone Bess finished with 14 targets last week. His targets
from the previous three games: 14. It appears quarterback Chad Henne actually
knows Bess exists. Now, Bess converted those targets into only six catches for
56 yards. Is there reason to believe Bess could be fantasy gold in Miami's
receiving corps? Maybe for a fool. Henne isn't the most accurate QB (58.9
completion percentage). Until the Dolphins develop a consistent deep threat that
can catch the ball (paging Mr. Ted Ginn Jr.), teams will be able to stay in the
box and crowd the short field where Bess likes to work.

Last week gave us the first glimpse at the post-Owen Daniels era for the Houston
Texans. Daniels had averaged 8.5 targets in the four weeks prior to his injury.
Where did they go? The biggest jump came from Jacoby Jones (two to six targets),
and Kevin Walter's looks actually went down from seven to six. David Anderson's
went up from three to four while tight ends Anthony Hill and Joel Dreessen were
looked at two and three times, respectively; oh, and quarterback Matt Schaub
threw the second most passes he has thrown all year. What does this tell us?
It's a mess. No one appears to benefit, at least initially (we had Walter pegged
as the top candidate last week), from the looks Daniels was receiving. Perhaps
Jones could be the ultimate beneficiary of Daniels' injury, but he has been
plagued by inconsistency throughout his young career.

Derrick Mason finished with just three catches for 31 yards for the Baltimore
Ravens last week. He was targeted 14 times. The Cincinnati Bengals like to take
away the short slant routes and shade coverage toward the vet. Maybe it'd help
if quarterback Joe Flacco looked elsewhere, too; Mark Clayton was second among
Baltimore wideouts with just three. It was also the second time this year Mason
has been limited by Cincy; they held him off the stat sheet in Week 5. Next week
he'll face the Cleveland Browns, who he torched for a season-high 118 yards and
one touchdown on five receptions in Week 3.

Chris Henry's season ended early for the Bengals because of a fractured forearm.
Chad Ochocinco took his usual spot atop the Bengals' looks chart, but he was
challenged this week by Laveranues Coles. The Bengals were looking Coles way in
the first quarter even before Henry was hurt and there could be another two or
three looks here with Henry out. The vet finished with 10 targets. Coles'
comfort level in the offense has been there the last couple of weeks, and he
made a couple of good catches off broken plays last week.
