The Minnesota Twins have placed SP Kevin Slowey (wrist) on the 15-day disabled
list, due to a strained right wrist, according to The Sports Network. He started
Friday, July 3, against the Detroit Tigers but was pulled from the game after
allowing six runs on five hits over three innings. Slowey said the pain in his
wrist affected how he held on to the ball. He will be examined Monday, July 6.
