The Buffalo Bills announced that the team has officially signed
defensive tackle Sam Adams. A nine-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowl
selection, Adams has started 110 of 134 career games for three
different teams and most recently played for the Oakland Raiders in
2002.
FANTASY SLANT
Add Adams to the growing list of quality defensive players signed by
the Bills. A true wide body (6'3" 340 lbs.), Adams will be used to
plug the holes in the defensive line. Last year the Bills ranked 29th
against the run and allowed 133 rushing yards per game. While Adams
will be a huge asset to the Bills defense, he will have very limited
fantasy value. Adams has never been used as a pass rusher. His role
will be to clog the middle of the line and allow the LB's to make the
plays.
