THE AUDITIONS AND FAST TRACKS
The Main Audition dates for Philippine Idol are:
June 3 – PICC, Manila
June 23 – Davao (venue to be confirmed)
July 4 – Cebu (venue to be confirmed)


If you want to win a chance to bypass the long queue at the audition, there are "Fast Tracks" held being held by RMN, MBC and SM at various SM Malls (see attached Fast Tracks Schedule)
Fast Tracks winners outside of Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao also win free transportation and accommodation to the closest of the    three Main Auditions (i.e., Luzon winners go to Manila, Visayas winners to Cebu, Mindanao winners to Davao).
CONTESTANT REQUIREMENTS
Contestants must be between 16 – 28 years old on July 1, 2006 and must be Filipino or holding dual citizenship (possessing Filipino as well as foreign citizenship)

They must bring:
1. Two (2) photos: One (1) close up (at least passport size) and one (1) full body (at least 3R size)
2. Original and two (2) certified true copies of birth certificate
3. Contestants with dual citizenship must also bring original and two (2) certified true copies of his/her Philippine passport
4. One (1) picture ID – passport, driver's license, SSS/GSIS ID, school or company ID and/or professional ID
5. Completed PHILIPPINE IDOL Application form

Contestants must prepare to sing two (2) songs -- one fast song, one slow song.


Contestants must dress to impress -- but please don't wear clothes with logos.


Application forms will be available at the venue and at www.philippineidol.com

Note that all contestants who are minors (i.e. under 18 years old) must have their application form signed by either a parent or a guardian.
