id like to start doing some bike/run training on sundays and some longer rides on saturday.
 
if anyone wants to do any training during the week, send out an email.
 
here's the schedule:
 
saturday:
 
bike ride (20-30 miles) depending on what everyone wants to do. we can meet at wall springs park at 8am.
 
sunday:
 
bike/run: 10-15 mile bike followed by a 1-3 mile run. we will meet on dunedin causeway on the north side across from the kayak shacks at 7:30am.
 
im also doing the turkey trot on thanksgiving. i plan on doing the 10k but depending on how my legs feel i may do the 5k. is anyone else doing it?? i know shaker and nicole are.
 
have a good week and enjoy your thanksgiving holiday

The weekend competition kicks off with the Meek & Mighty Triathlon,  an event open to youths ages 7-14 and novice adult triathletes.
The event is held at North Shore Pool and begins with a time trial pool start. The Meek & Mighty Triathlon culminates with a post-race  awards party with lots of door prizes. Please  check the event schedule for the start times for each age category. Entry is limited to 1000  participants.

Thanks to Leslie & Jessica and anyone else who is posting photos from Ragnar--I
appreciate it especially as I'm completely "challenged" when it comes to the
technology.  I'm so glad I can re-live this amazing weekend over and over
through these pictures.  It truly was one of the most memorable weekends of my
life and I loved sharing it with you all--will plan on getting more rest in '11
for Miami to the Keys!

FYI - we are planning on Ragnar again next year and possibly other ragnar
locations too!!!   It would be great to have two teams in FL next year!!!! 
Don't miss it...this should be on your "bucket list"!!!
Tom C's already a "ragnarholic"!!!  Think everyone agrees the night run was
totally awesome!!  Peyton has a great story about his night run!!

You guys put on a fantastic FL race this year! MUCH BETTER organized. Ocean's 12

Thanks for whatever van picked me up on leg 23 after I went 2 miles off course
at 3 o'clock in the morning, if not for you I would be somewhere around the
Florida/Georgia line by now. Sorry I forgot to get your names, but thanks again
and thanks for showing what the racing community and this race is all about!!

My van was able to help some on on leg 24. Plus everyone keep giving my other
runners gatorade... Thanks to everyone who made these 2 days such a success!

WOW - I see Florida went well...I so want to do NY ... if any NY teams are being
coordinated soon...I am ssoo available!

I am Ragnasty after that Ragnar!!! SO much fun! Thanks Ragnar! CAN WAIT to do it

This was my first Ragnar-and it was a total blast! What an adventure! Best race

Was a blast!  Team already talking about the Miami to Keys race in Feb...but I
believe that has been postponed till 2011!  So we'll plan for Ragnar again next
year!  Encourage everyone to do this race.  You'll love it!

Yes, it was a blast. Lots of laughs and crazy stuff. we all have lots go great stories to tell. from locking the keys up in our van with it running to going 2 days on 1 hour of sleep and no shower.
 
everyone did really great! i was really impressed with our whole team. everyone laid all they had out there on the course!

hello everyone,
  Our Christmas party will be soon and I wanted to remind all of you about
getting items for raffle or silent auction. For the Warriors that were unable to
attend the October meeting; we discussed about each person obtaining at least 2
gifts. These donated items can be in  the form of a gift certificate or a
service. If the item you are donating has significant cash value then our club
can use it as a silent auction item,otherwise it will be used as a raffle. Check
with your local venders that you frequent such as a restaurant, hair
dresser,movie theatre,etc. The money that our club recieves from the Christmas
party will help pay for the event and go to the Greater Palm Harbor YMCA.
I will need any items you have to donate by November 25 so baskets can be made
for the party.
